Mathilde Calderini is one of the most promising flute players of her generation. She won First Prize at the prestigious Kobe International Flute Competition in 2013. She has already been awarded several distinctions: Special prize at the Best Young Flutist of Maxence Larrieu International Flute Competition and First Prize at the Buffet Crampon Competition.

She has been invited to perform with prestigious orchestras in various places such as Auditorium de Radio France in Paris, Kioi Hall in Tokyo, Liederhalle in Stuttgart, Hyogo Performing Arts Center in Osaka, Royal Festival Hall in London and many more…

Passionate about chamber music as well, Mathilde founded, with clarinet player Amaury Viduvier, the Ouranos Ensemble. They recently won the First Prize and the Audience’s Prize of the Lyon International Chamber Music Competition.
