The Dutch cellist Harriet Krijgh is one of today’s most exciting and promising young cellists. Her grace and expressiveness touches her audiences and fellow musicians as soon as she walks on to the concert platform. Harriet Krijgh has already performed in many of Europe’s most prestigious venues including the Musikverein in Vienna and Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw.  Among Harriet Krijghs many outstanding teachers include our Swedish star cellist Frans Helmerson.

She makes regular festival appearances at the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the Rheingau and Festival de Radio France in Montpellier. In 2015/16 Harriet has been invited on to the “Rising Star” series of the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO). A passionate chamber musician and enterprising young artist Harriet Krijgh formed her own festival “Harriet and Friends” which takes place every summer at the Feistritz castle in Austria.
